The teenage boy in Texas, Aaron, continues to deal with pain, but is able to handle it with oral medications. He still has issues with sleep, but they have tried hypnosis the last couple of nights and he has been able to get 6+ hours of sleep in a night. He has been working with a homebound teacher to get caught up with class. Will probably not return to school this year, but if he continues in his work with the homebound teacher, he should be able to rejoin his classmates next year.
Keep the prayers coming. We serve an mighty and awesome God!!
Let me know if you are coming to the Black Hills or just passing through. You are always welcome to stay at our place or just meet for a cup of coffee, a meal or whatever. Whether in car or on bike, love to get together and graze or chew the cud with fellow Sheep. Riding through or even near, I would love to ride out and meet you, ride awhile or whatever.
Looking forward to seeing some of you during Sturgis or anytime you are in the area.
Aaron is making progress. They are gradually lowering his pain meds. He does still have difficulty through the night and doesn't sleep well yet. He starts with homebound teacher this week. Pray that this goes well. Let's keep lifting him and his family up in prayer each night, that he will get some rest.
God bless you all for your faithful prayers and support.
Thank you to all who prayed for us as we ministered at the bike show in the Black Hills. Made lots of good contacts, just loved on some people, met new local president of the Bandidos. We will see where God leads us in these areas.
The Black Hills Bike Show is this weekend. I will have a booth for Black Sheep once again. I ask for God to have divine appointments for me and that I be sensitive to His leading.
Aaron is eight days out from surgery. He is making slow progress, but his nights are still very difficult. His pain level increases dramatically in the evenings and through the night. Sleep deprivation is a real concern for both Aaron and family. Please continue to lift him up and his family. May God give him relief and strength and the patience to give his body a chance to heal.
Thank you Brothers and Sisters for your continued prayers.
