History

Ron and Florence Johnson were first introduced to the Black Sheep mission by the Long Riders Group from CA when they attended the Rally On The River in New Braunfels TX in Apr 2008.The Johnsons spent a great deal of time durring the rally with this committed group of Christians,and learned about the BSHDFC.They were impresed by these people and became very interested in the organization they were representing,so they picked up some literature to learn some more about their mission and statement of faith.By autumn they decided to commit to help organize the first TX chapter.They met with Duane Wilhite ,the San Antonio area contact and made plans.They were soon joined by John and Rose Ybanez and finally had enough souls to begin the Canyon Lake Chapter of BSHDFC in Jan of 2009.In the spring we were pleased to welcome Matt and Delisa Gardner to our small group.We are not large but we are blessed with loyal and committed members who are eager to serve our Lord.We're confident that we will grow in the future and look forward to many opportunities to spread the Good News of the Gospel as we enjoy our rides through the beautiful TX hill country and work in our Black Sheep booth at nearby rallies.   In His love and care Florence Johnson
